Leno Utilizes Vanner Equalizers

Vanner Equalizers now on four cars in Leno Collection

Hilliard Ohio power conversion company Vanner Inc. recently sold its fourth Battery Equalizer to Jay Leno for his spectacular car collection.

Working with renowned Mechanic/Fabricator Bernard Juchli, Vanner first sold a 66-100 series for the now famous “Tank Car”, a 1000 horsepower hot rod with a Korean War era tank engine. This unit has cured Jay’s battery problems for three plus years now.

Vanner was thrilled to provide a second, special hand polished 70-100 series for the Eco Jet, a collaboration with GM design studios which resulted in a stunning Bio Diesel, Jet Turbine powered supercar unveiled at the Sema Show 2 years ago.

There is another 70 series waiting to be installed on a 1924 Rolls Royce, powered by the famous British “Mosquito” fighter bomber airplane engine with a body that is being painstakingly made with hand formed aluminum body panels.(The original bodies were wooden, and tended to crack and weather.)

Bernard just finished installing a 66-80 series on what will be the oldest vehicle Vanner has ever been installed on, a 1916 Owen Magnetic, a 24-volt system that needed help running 12 volt fuel pumps and headlamps.
